Nearly VND 1,800 billion to pay compensation and resettlement
According to Long An Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment, until June 2019, the total cost of compensation and resettlement in the province has been VND 1,771.8 billion.

Long An has 98 implemented projects
Accordingly, the whole province has 98 implemented projects with a total acquired land area of 348,834 hectares and 6,793 affected households. The total cost of compensation and resettlement has been VND 1,771.8 billion.
Besides, there are 113 documents of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the implementation of land allocation, change of the land use purpose and land acquisition of organizations using land in the province, 299 documents of response to the Department of Planning and Investment, and 7 documents of submission to the Provincial People's Committee to agree on locations for public investment projects./.
