Removing difficulties for enterprises in Long Hau Industrial Park

The dialogue is a chance for the provincial leaders to listen to the opinions, proposals and suggest from the enterprises, promptly remove obstacles and difficulties related to investment activities in the current period. According to the Economic Zone Authority, Long Hau IP was granted an investment certificate in December 2006 with an area of 141.85 hectares. Long Hau IP expansion was granted an investment certificate in June 2009 with an area of 108.48 hectares. Until December 31, 2015, Long Hau Industrial Park was basically filled and the expansion phase was filled in Q1/2018.

In July 2016, the first phase of Long Hau IP 3 project was granted an investment certificate with an area of 123.98 hectares. Up to now, Long Hau Joint Stock Company has leveled more than 60 percent of the clearance sites and is investing in infrastructure construction. It is expected that by the end of 2019, the IP will officially come into operation.

At the dialogue, businesses recommended that wild grass grew and insects lived in unbuilt up areas, affecting the production of neighboring businesses; people occupied the pavement on and along the way to the IP for trade making it difficult for traffic and aesthetics.

In addition, businesses proposed that the province expand the road to hamlet 3 in the IP because the road is currently degraded and very narrow, not meeting the traffic demand; At the same time, they proposed to invest in building more schools and medical stations for workers in the IP. In particular, the progress of land clearance to hand over land in the project of Long Hau IP 3 is very interested by businesses.

The opinions and recommendations of the businesses were received by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council - Pham Van Ranh. He directed the relevant sectors, the Industrial Zone Authority and the local authorities had satisfactory solutions. In particular, regarding the ground clearance, creating a clean land fund to attract investment, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut said that the provincial People's Committee will hold a symposium on these issues to quickly resolve problems after the dialogue. He requested that the locality should identify the causes of difficulties in compensation and site clearance; The provincial People's Committee will inspect and urge departments, branches and localities to fulfill their promises to enterprises.

Concluding the dialogue, Mr. Pham Van Ranh asked Long Hau Industrial Zone Management Board to regularly monitor the situation in the area to promptly handle obstacles, not to make it prolong, cause difficulties and annoyance for businesses. The subordinate issues of communes, districts and provinces strongly propose local leaders to consider and remove.

He also pledged to businesses, provincial leaders and authorities at all levels to accompany with enterprises, to identify difficulties of enterprises as their own difficulties, to solve difficulties and obstacles, create all favorable conditions for businesses to operate in the future to contribute to the province’s development./.
