Vietnamese kids receive six-in-one vaccine
Vietnam Vaccine Company and Sanofin Pasteur yesterday administered six-in-one vaccine Hexaxim at a medical clinic at 198 Hoang Van Thu street in Phu Nhuan District.
Head of the Preventive Medicine Department Dr. Tran Dac Phu said six-in-one vaccine Hexaxim helps shorten vaccination period for kids.
The new vaccine given to children from six weeks of age helps protect against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, poliomyelitis and serious diseases caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b.
It is circulated in 100 nations cross over the world and Vietnam Vaccine Company is the first company which was allowed to provide the vaccine in the country./.
