Currently, the environmental sanitation work is provided by Tay Ninh Tourism and Trade Joint Stock Company as the main service in all areas from the foot of the mountain, the ground area of Ba Pagoda and the mountain top area. The unit has a team in charge of environmental sanitation with about 100 people serving regularly. During holidays such as April 30 and September 2, the workforce will be increased by 30%. In particular, during the Ba Mountain Spring Festival (from the 4th day to the 15th day of the first lunar month), the number of tourists increases the most in the year, so the company must increase around 500 people in charge of environmental sanitation.

Cleaning staff always ensure a green, clean environment
According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Linh, Head of Landscape Cleaning Technical Support Department, Tay Ninh Trade and Tourism Joint Stock Company, on normal days, the work will start at 4am and end at around 9pm. On holidays, the cleaning team will be on duty 24/7 to ensure the resort area is always clean.
After collection, the garbage will be gathered at the dump at the foot of the mountain. During the week, there will be specialized vehicles to transport it to Tay Ninh Environmental Technology Company (Tan Phu commune, Tay Ninh province) for processing. On major holidays, the work of transporting garbage to the processing site will be carried out continuously every day, not allowing garbage to accumulate and affect the activities of the tourist area.
"At peak times, the amount of garbage is about 20-30 tons/day; on weekdays and weekends, it can fluctuate from 2-4 tons/day. Toxic waste such as oil, pesticide packaging, batteries, etc., is gathered in separate warehouses with proper treatment procedures according to regulations," added Mr. Nguyen Trong Linh.

Workers collect garbage to the landfill
The infrastructure system for waste classification, collection and treatment is invested in a modern and environmentally friendly way. Trash bins are arranged along the cable car route, square, and Ba Temple area to help tourists easily dispose of trash in the right place. In addition to the cleaning and garbage collection work of the staff, the Management Board of Ba Den National Tourist Area also promotes propaganda about environmental sanitation awareness to tourists and traders.
According to Mr. Ho Nhat Khoa, Head of the Department of Monument Management and Tourism Activities (Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area Management Board), recently, the Management Board has coordinated with relevant units to deploy propaganda work using internal loudspeaker systems, billboards, leaflets, and video clips associated with the "Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism"; organized the "No Plastic July" campaign to actively respond to the movement against plastic waste throughout the province.
“To limit plastic waste and disposable waste, we propagate to tourists and traders to implement the message, ‘Do not bring gift baskets, food made of plastic trays, bottles, disposable plastic cups, foam boxes containing food, votive offerings, or nylon bags into the Ba Den Mountain Historical, Cultural and Scenic Site. From there, relevant units will implement and use environmentally friendly products such as paper cups, paper straws, biodegradable bags, stainless steel food trays, etc”—Mr. Ho Nhat Khoa informed.

Transporting waste from warehouse to waste treatment plant
Thanks to synchronous and effective implementation, units, organizations and individuals in the tourist area have actively responded, contributing to enhancing the image of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area as always green, clean, beautiful and environmentally friendly./.
