Central Inspection Delegation works with Provincial Party Committee on implementation of Directive 12

On February 9, Inspection Delegation No. 2 of the Central Economic Commission and the Central Party Committee of Public Security, led by Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission - Nguyen Duc Hien, had a working session with the Provincial Party Committee on the results of 5 years implementing Directive 12, dated January 5, 2017, of the Politburo on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring economic security in the context of market economic development, socialist orientation and international integration”.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc affirmed that, since the issuance of Directive 12, the province has always received the attention, guidance and support of ministries, central agencies, ensuring economic security in the conditions of market economy development, socialist orientation and international integration.

Especially in the past 2 years, with the drastic participation of the whole political, socio-economic system in the province, there has been a strong and sustainable development. Budget revenue in the province reached nearly 22,000 billion VND, maintaining its leading position in the Mekong Delta. The province is also one of the localities with a stable and transparent business environment that is interested and selected by many investors. The situation of political security, social order and safety in the province has been maintained and stabilized, contributing to the socio-economic development and international economic integration.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc hoped that through the working session of the Central Inspection Delegation, the province would overcome shortcomings and limitations to better implement the contents of Directive 12, so that the province's economy can continue to develop sustainably.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, Head of Inspection Delegation No. 2 - Nguyen Duc Hien affirmed that ensuring economic security was identified as one of the most important and leading tasks. The province is one of the major economic centers of the country, with fast economic growth and an important gateway between the West and Southeast areas. Therefore, strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring economic security in the context of market economy development, socialist orientation and international integration is one of the important tasks. He hopes that the results of the meeting in the province together with other localities in the country will be a practical basis to build a preliminary report of 5 years of implementation of Directive 12 and submit it to the Politburo for consideration, orientations and directions in the future.

On the same day, the Inspection Delegation had a meeting with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Can Giuoc District Party Committee./.
