Consumer price index in July 2020 in Long An increases by 0.37 percent

The consumer price index (CPI) in July 2020 in Long An increased by 0.37 percent compared to the previous month.

7 out of 11 groups increase CPI, traffic by 4.55 percent; beverage and cigarette increased by 1.56 percent; housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials increased by 0.08 percent; household appliances and appliances increased by 0.07 percent; culture, entertainment, tourism increased by 0.05 percent; post and telecommunications increased by 0.04 percent; medicine and medical service increased by 0.01 percent.

4 groups decreased CPI: Food and food service decreased 0.23 percent; other goods and services decreased by 0.13 percent; garment, hat, footwear decreased by 0.07 percent; education decreased by 0.04 percent.

The price of gasoline and gas increased according to the increasing trend of world gasoline price, which made the CPI in July 2020 increase by 0.37 percent compared to the previous month, increasing by 1.54 percent compared to December 2019, an increase of 4.55 percent over the same period last year.

On average, in the first 7 months of 2020, CPI increased by 4.7 percent over the same period in 2019, of which CPI in urban areas increased by 4.77 percent, rural areas by 4.67 percent./.
