In 10 years, the provincial authorities have discovered 552 criminal information and transferred it to the investigative agencies for verification, investigation and handling in accordance with the law. All information and cases have been received, classified and processed. As a result, many corruption, economic and negative cases have been investigated and strictly handled.

However, the leadership and organization of detecting, transferring, receiving and dealing with crime information of the Standing Board of the Long An Provincial Party Committee still have limitations. Specifically, the inspection and supervision work has not been regular. The detection and handling of violations has been slow, not meeting the requirements of the fight against corruption and negativity. Coordination between authorities has been limited in some aspects.

Ms. Truong Thi Mai asked the Standing Committee of the Long An Provincial Party Committee to focus on directing in order to improve the responsibilities of Party committees and leaders at all levels in detecting, transferring, receiving and dealing with crime information. The province should review all these activities in order to improve the responsibilities of all levels of Party committees, Party organizations, functional agencies as well as correct limitations and errors; direct the strengthening of the Party's inspection and supervision, the State's inspection, the supervision of the Fatherland Front, mass organizations and people in detecting, transferring, receiving and handling information about criminal.

She also asked the Standing Committee of the Long An Provincial Party Committee to regularly pay attention to the building of the Party organization; to train cadres and party members, especially leaders, managers and officials in charge of anti-corruption and anti-corruption work to have capacity and prestige.
