Leaders of Long An province receive California State Delegation

Currently, the United States ranks 6th among about 40 countries and territories investing in Long An with 23 projects, total registered investment capital of over 484 million USD. The US projects in Long An are mainly in the field of environment, packaging production, pharmaceuticals, toys, apparel, factory leasing, etc.

Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the United States on July 12, 1995 and more than 10 years of establishing the Comprehensive cooperation on July 25, 2013, the two countries have built a partnership and friendship on the basis of mutual interests, mutual respect and people-to-people relations. As a result, the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and the United States has grown deeper.

“Today, Long An is very happy to welcome the delegation to visit and learn about investment cooperation with enterprises of the province. This shows the trust and confidence of US partners in us as a safe, stable and developing investment destination", emphasized Provincial Party Secretary.

Speaking at the meeting, Mayor of Oakland - Sheng Thao felt happy and honored to be in Vietnam as well as Long An. She hopes that the visit will strengthen the cooperation relationship between the two localities in the coming time, especially between Oakland Port and Long An International Port.
