On the afternoon of September 7, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son chaired a dialogue with businesses operating in Can Giuoc district. Co-chairing with him were Deputy Director of Department of Planning and Investment - Nguyen Tan Qui; Can Giuoc Secretary of the District Party Committee - Truong Thanh Liem and Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of District People's Committee - Nguyen Anh Duc.

At the dialogue, businesses proposed issues related to land management, construction, access to preferential loans, credit support, etc. In particular, the issues inluded the granting of land use certificates; the price of compensation and resettlement; procedures for land allocation and land lease; the investment in transport infrastructure in the area adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City; etc.

At the same time, the units recommended the province to support investment in greenhouses and net houses to develop high-tech agriculture, especially preferential loans for cooperatives to invest in machinery and equipment; investment promotion support. Businesses also had questions about the one-time payment of social insurance for employees; protect personal data; etc.

Representatives of People's Committees, departments, branches and localities informed and clarified some issues and specific solutions for each group of them.

Speaking at the dialogue, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son said that the province's motto is that the difficulties and success of businesses are also of the province. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee has decided to establish a special working group to remove difficulties and obstacles, and support businesses, investors and investment projects in the province, led by the provincial leaders.

He requested that, after this dialogue, the Department of Planning and Investment assumes the prime responsibility and coordinate with relevant units to continue reviewing, capturing and synthesizing recommendations of businesses; advising the Provincial People's Committee to direct departments, agencies and localities to actively research and focus on solving difficulties and problems of enterprises; raising the sense of responsibility in performing official duties; strictly handling cases of causing harassment, failing to strictly follow the guidelines of the Government and the province on supporting and developing businesses.

Provincial leaders hope that organizations, associations and businesses in the province in general and in Can Giuoc district in particular will continue to understand and share with the province's difficulties, and accompany the province to move forward, changing difficulties and challenges into advantages and opportunities, realizing the common goal of developing in a sustainable way.

In the coming time, the province will regularly organize dialogues with businesses, thematic meetings to solve each specific problem to promptly clear the "bottlenecks". In addition, the province will promotesadministrative procedure reform in the direction of leanness, publicity and transparency, thoroughly and drastically implement in a drastic and uniform manner from the provincial to grassroots levels.

This is the second time leaders of the Provincial People's Committee have dialogue with businesses operating in Can Giuoc district in 2023./.
