Long An delegation meets and works with Chairman of JB Financial Group
On May 29, the delegation worked with JB Financial Group in Seoul, Korea. JB Group is a comprehensive financial group, currently holding capital of 2 banks, namely Jeonbuk Bank and Kwangu Bank; Financial and investment companies specializing in domestic and foreign real estate investment such as JB Woori Capital, JB Asset Management Company, JB Investment Company and 4 overseas subsidiaries with total revenue calculated by 2022 of 3.1 trillion won.
At the meeting, Chairman of JB Group - Kim Ki Hong highly appreciated the development potential of Long An province and is currently interested in investing capital for the urban, commercial, service and technology valley Complex deployed by STS Group in Ben Luc district, Long An province. He pledged to join and accompany the project as a financial advisor, ensuring sufficient capital to develop the Complex. At the same time, he also wishes to invest in urban development and infrastructure projects of Long An province in the near future.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut said that Long An province is very interested in developing the commercial urban complex project and wishes that JB Group will financially support it. The provincial government will commit to creating the best conditions according to its competence for investors to implement and complete the project in order to not only develop housing but also create a high-class cultural, educational and sports space according to international standards for the people.
Long An delegation visits and works at the Yongin Respia wastewater treatment plant of Samsung Engineering Company
Continuing activities within the framework of the investment promotion program, Long An delegation visited, surveyed and worked with Samsung Engineering Company (SECL). It is known that SECL is a member of the multinational Samsung Group in Korea with the main field of operation in the environment. Up to now, the company has carried out more than 450 projects on providing the best solutions in environmental treatment including clean water, wastewater, ultrapure water, reused water, power generation waste incineration projects and projects to reduce environmental and air pollution.
At the meeting, Samsung Engineering Company briefly introduced the operation situation as well as the projects that have been implemented and developed by the company, especially paying attention to the wastewater treatment plant project in Tan An city. The company proposes a circular economy model, in order to ensure the living environment of people in parallel with the economic development. At the same time, Vice President of Samsung Engineering Company - Han Sangdeog wishes to promote the signing of Memorandum of Understanding as the province's partner in providing comprehensive solutions for the environment, in order to improve the quality of life of people in Long An. It is expected that when the wastewater treatment plant project in Tan An city is completed, it will be the first plant with new technology and modern models in Vietnam.
Concluding at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut highly appreciated and impressed with the projects that Samsung Engineering Company is implementing, especially in the field of wastewater and waste treatment, the two areas that Long An is in dire need, since Long An wants economic development without sacrificing the environment, towards green and sustainable economic development. Provincial leaders hope that the company will accompany the province in projects on environmental development and commit to support investors in solving problems and difficulties in accordance with the province's authority. Therby, investors can feel secure and implement the project in the province, aiming to improve the quality of the living and working environment for the people of Long An./.
