According to the assessment of the Provincial Party Committee, in the first 9 months of 2022, the province's socio-economic situation takes place in conditions of many advantages and difficulties, with the most intertwined challenges are complicated economic situation, world politics, etc.

Facing that situation, the Party Committee, authorities and people in the province have united and upheld their will of self-reliance, high determination, great efforts, flexible and drastic actions and achiving positive and comprehensive results in all fields.

The socio-economic development has achieved many positive and comprehensive results in most fields, with the economic growth rate (GRDP) reaching 9.43%, higher than the national average. The provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, has been approved by the Appraisal Council with 100% of its members, and is currently being completed and submitted to the Prime Minister for approval. Investment promotion has been drastically implemented in order to catch the investment wave after the Covid-19 pandemic. In particular, the province has sent investment promotion delegation to Korea, Japan and Australia.

Total state budget revenue reached VND 16,369 billion, reaching 94.3% of the provincial estimate, an increase of 20.3% over the same period, of which domestic revenue reached VND 13,203 billion, reaching 97.12% of the estimate, an increase of 28.6% over the same period.

In addition, cultural, sports and tourism activities were promoted. In particular, the province successfully organized the Provincial Culture - Tourism Week in 2022. Social security policies were fully and timely implemented. National defense, security, and internal affairs work were closely and uniformly led by Party committees and authorities at all levels. External activities were enhanced; sovereignty and border security were maintained.

In addition to the achieved results, the Provincial Party Committee said that in the first 9 months of the year, agricultural production still faced many difficulties, the prices of materials and input costs increased, and animal diseases situation was still complicated and directly affected the production and output of agricultural products. The consumption of agricultural products is still difficult, especially for dragon fruit. The work of compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance has not met the requirements. Attracting investment faces many difficulties.

The vaccination progress against Covid-19 has not met the requirements. The dengue epidemic is still complicated. The number of medical staff, doctors and medical staff resigning has increased, and the mechanism of attraction and treatment for public sector medical staff is not adequate. Security, social order and safety sometimes meet complicated developments, crimes of infringing upon social order have shown signs of increasing, etc.

In agricultural production, it is necessary to have a solution to strictly control the prices of agricultural materials to ensure the input of production and the interests for farmers. He also suggested to propagate and mobilize social resources to speed up the investment progress in building new rural areas to ensure the materialization; especially the construction of a new rural district, a model new-style rural commune according to the targets of the Resolution of the XI Congress, etc.
