According to the report of DoIC, the provincial Information and Communications sector has successfully fulfilled its assigned tasks. The DoIC advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to issue legal documents, plannings, plans, mechanisms and policies to create a basis for good state management in the field of the sector. The work of managing Press and Publishing has been effectively implemented; information and propaganda activities have been promoted, contributing to orienting public opinion, serving political and socio-economic tasks of the province.

The state management of post and telecommunications continues to be strengthened, ensuring that businesses develop and maintain good growth. Businesses of telecommunications build and expand the network to provide full services and solutions to meet the needs from universal to modern: expanding the fiber networks of GPON, 3G, 4G, and so on.

The whole province has underground cables on 15 routes with a total length of 19,300 meters. The communication system serving the direction and administration of Party Committees, authorities and people in the province and the work of preventing and fighting flood and storm are implemented smoothly and promptly.
