Long An talks tax with local enterprises
Long An province’s tax department held its first dialogue in 2018 with local enterprises in the districts of Duc Hue, Can Giuoc, Chau Thanh, Tan Tru, Thu Thua and Tan An City, on March 12.
The department answered publicly tax-related questions from enterprises
At the dialogue, the department instructed enterprises major issues relating to tax balance sheet and new policies and listen to local enterprises’ opinions about difficulties in implementing tax policy…
By the beginning of this year, nearly 10,000 enterprises are operating their business in the province. The budget collection from domestic enterprises in 2017 was over VND 10trillion, an increase of 17 percent compared to 2016.
Aside from that, enterprises implemented online tax payments, saving time and expenditure. To date, 99 percent enterprises have been using online tax system for declarations and payments.
Long An’ s online tax payments has reached 95 percent of its target.
Many policies and amending tax regulation were updated to enterprises at the dialogue. Experts introduced the advantages of online tax system. Besides, the department answered publicly tax-related questions from enterprises on the same day.
The annual dialogue aims also to help enterprises understand clearly their responsibilities, rights and tax duties to the State./.
