National industrial promotion program supports HG Company to invest in grinding machine for fine dragon fruit powder
The Department of Industry and Trade of Long An province, the Center for Industry Promotion and Trade Promotion (Industry Promotion Center) cooperated with HG Food Joint Stock Company (HG Company) to organize the acceptance test of the national industrial promotion project in 2021. This is one of the pilot projects implemented and funded by national industry promotion.

Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Long An province - Duong Van Hoang Hoanh, Deputy Director of the local Department of Industry and Trade - Do Thi Minh Tram participated in the acceptance ceremony.
The project has been implemented from July 2021 to present. The project implementation budget is 605 million VND, of which the national industrial promotion fund supports 300 million VND, the rest is the reciprocal capital of the beneficiary.
Workers perform stages in the production of fine powdered dragon fruit
HG Company (My Phu commune, Thu Thua district) specializes in processing and preserving vegetables and fruits. Currently, the company is producing many kinds of dried fruits for the domestic market. Recently, in addition to fresh and dried fruit, the market has a demand for fruit in many other forms, including fine powder. Therefore, HG Company decided to invest in a fine powder mill to satisfy customers' needs.
Due to its new establishment, limited capital, especially affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, HG Company faced many difficulties. Through research and survey, the Center for Industrial Promotion decided to support HG Company to develop a project to support the application of advanced and modern machinery and equipment in agricultural product processing. This is one of the projects to support rural industrial establishments in Long An province to develop production of agricultural products in the 2021-2023 period.
Director of HG Company - Duong Thi Truc Giang said that the company was applying the machine to grind dragon fruit into super fine powder. Through testing, the finished product retains its taste, color and nutritional content. Dragon fruit powder is provided to export partners for food, cosmetics, etc.
Hopefully, with the new direction of HG Company, the province's agricultural products will be diversified into finished products, meeting the needs of domestic and foreign markets./.
