Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Ngoc is always eager to learn at work

1. Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Ngoc is one of the typical workers who has initiative for the company. She has worked in Raytu Co. Ltd since September 2013. As the workshop leader, Ms. Ngoc constantly learns, cultivates, accumulates experience, researches and launches the initiative of Fixing tape on shoe soles, helping the company reduce labor, save time and limit hazardous waste into the environment.

"During the process of managing workers, I came up with a way to coordinate with the supplier to pre-glue the newspaper surface and place newspapers on a fixed post that I designed to mount on each workers' work line, making the process of gluing newspapers onto shoe soles very quickly, reducing steps, increasing output, and bettering product quality. Each post like this costs about 15,000 VND of iron. Currently, the company has nearly 60 posts, productivity increased from 20 pairs/hour to 50 pairs/hour" - Ms. Ngoc said.

Not only is she devoted to her work, Ms. Ngoc also cares about supporting and guiding workers to develop their abilities and increase work efficiency.

With her efforts, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Ngoc was recognized as an excellent trade union member for many years in a row, and was awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for achieving the title of creative worker in the patriotic emulation movement. The Provincial Labor Federation awarded her a Certificate of Merit for having outstanding initiatives participating in the Movement "75 thousand initiatives to overcome difficulties and develop". The Provincial People's Committee also awarded a Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of good workers;etc.

2. In 10 years at Raytu Co. Ltd., Ms. Huynh Thi My Trinh has always done a good job painting the soles of shoes (100% handmade). In 2015, she wasnominated as a production line manager. In 2019, she took on the position of factory manager, managing 6 production lines and 150 workers. Eager to learn, she researched many new working methods with the desire to increase work efficiency, including the initiative of pumping paint on shoe soles.

Ms. Trinh said: "While working, I realized that the process of applying tape to shoe soles did not bring stable performance, durability and quality. Workers must tape the shoe soles before applying paint. Through practical experience, I came up with a way to design a paint pump model to pump paint directly onto the shoe's sole, without having to go through the process of applying tape to position then remove tape, helping painting shoe soles faster, more beautiful and especially reduces costs for businesses."

Ms. Huynh Thi My Trinh researches many new working methods with the desire to increase work efficiency

Ms. Trinh's initiative can be applied to all spray-painted shoes at the company. The price of each pump is about 1,000 VND and currently, the company has over 100 pumps, processing productivity increased from 100 pairs/hour to 200 pairs/hour, helping the company increase profits. Thanks to that, Ms. Trinh was awarded many certificates of merit by the company's Trade Union and the Provincial and District Labor Confederations. Among them, the most prominent is the Creative Labor Certificate for achieving the title of creative labor in the patriotic emulation movement awarded by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in organizing activities to celebrate the Party, Spring 2023, taking good care of union members and workers awarded by the Provincial Labor Federation; etc.
