The Provincial Road 830E project spans over 9.3km, starting at the Ben Luc interchange of the Ho Chi Minh City–Trung Luong Expressway in Ben Luc Commune and ending at Provincial Road 830 in Long Cang Commune, Tay Ninh Province. Phase 1 includes the construction of two parallel roads along the route, each comprising two 7m-wide mixed-traffic lanes and one 2.5m-wide lane for rudimentary vehicles, as well as bridges crossing rivers on both sides

The connecting section to Provincial Road 830 is designed with 6 lanes, a 20m carriageway, and a 30m roadbed. In its completed phase, the project will become an expressway with 8 running lanes and 2 emergency lanes, while the parallel roads will feature 4 mixed-traffic lanes, 2 lanes in each direction.

Deputy Director of Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board, Tran Thien Truc, informs about the project implementation progress

The province is focusing on implementing the 5.8km section of the project from the Provincial Road 830 interchange to National Highway 1, passing through Ben Luc and My Yen communes. For site clearance, compensation has been paid to 798/878 cases, with a total amount of 1,456 billion VND, reaching 89% in cases and 91.6% in area. 80 households have not yet received compensation.

For construction progress on the section from the Provincial Road 830 interchange to National Highway 1, all 4 construction packages executed by contractors have achieved between 37–51%. The biggest challenge lies in site clearance, as some households have not agreed to hand over land, affecting construction progress.

At the meeting, leaders of provincial departments and sectors proposed solutions to remove obstacles and accelerate project progress.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Lam requested Ben Luc and My Yen commune authorities to intensify communication and persuasion efforts to encourage residents to promptly hand over land. For households that have received compensation but not yet handed over land, local authorities should persuade them to implement temporary relocation policies.

For those refusing compensation, dossiers must be consolidated and procedures followed properly to enforce land recovery, ensuring timely site clearance and handover to contractors to accelerate project progress.
