At the conference, delegates focused on discussing prevention and control measures (tracing, expanding testing, isolation) in order to detect cases early, treat them promptly, minimize the cases of spreading in the community and death cases; safety assurance options in organizing high school graduation exams 2020; solutions to realize dual goals while facing global difficulties; etc.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised the efforts of the local health sector in zoning, suppressing and implementing the gap in areas where the outbreak occurred. Therefore, it is necessary first to mobilize the participation of the whole political system in strictly implementing prevention and control measures. The ministries, branches and localities enhance education and propagation activities to help people be calm, proactive, determined and raise their caution spirit for epidemics.

For provinces and cities where epidemics have occurred, they must resolutely carry out epidemics and social separations in order to control the rate of infection to the community; enlist every hour in tracing cases, expanding testing. The Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Defense and border localities to strengthen control and strictly handle cases of illegal entry, especially trails and open paths.
