Former State President - Truong Tan Sang gives cows to poor households in Tan Hung district

On December 10, in Hung Dien commune, People's Committee of Tan Hung district, Long An province and sponsors gave breeding cows to poor and near-poor households, policy beneficiary families in difficult circumstances and “newly escaped from poverty” households in the district. This time, 100 households in communes of Hung Dien, Hung Dien B, Hung Ha, Thanh Hung, Hung Thanh, Vinh Thanh, Vinh Loi, Vinh Chau A and Vinh Chau B received breeding cows, with the amount of 1.5 billion VND. Former State President - Truong Tan Sang mobilized Lien Viet Post Bank to fund.

Businesses should coordinate with the authorities to help poor and near-poor households. On the other hand, after receiving the cows, the poor and near-poor households should raise well to develop the family economy, reduce poverty sustainably and meet the expectations of the Party, the State and the sponsors, said the former State President - Truong Tan Sang.

Up to now, former State President - Truong Tan Sang has mobilized the sponsors to donate 454 breeding cows to people in Tan Hung district with a total value of 6.7 billion VND. According to the survey, currently, the previously supported cows are being raised well, in which, 54 cows are pregnant from 3 to 4 months.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Tan Hung district presented the certificate of merit of Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee to Lien Viet Post Bank for donating cows to the poor in the province in general and Tan Hung district in particular./.
