Long An hands over disinfectants and vaccines to support Svay Rieng province against foot and mouth disease
On December 13, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Long An handed over 1,000 liters of disinfectants and 10,000 doses of foot and mouth vaccine of 2 types (O, A) to Svay Rieng Province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

Long An supported Svay Rieng Province, Kingdom of Cambodia these disinfectants and vaccines so that our neighbouring country can prevent and fight diseases in cattle and poultry.

At the handover ceremony, Director of Svay Rieng Department of Agriculture - Forestry – Fisheries -Thach Ratana expressed his deep gratitude to the authorities and people of Long An Province for their timely support before the disease situation in cattle and poultry in Svay Rieng province that is becoming more and more complex and causing great losses to farmers.
At the same time, he also affirmed that he would use these supported vaccines and disinfectants in the border areas of Long An province to limit the risk of spread when the disease occurs. At the same time, he hopes that in the coming time, the two provinces' agriculture will continue to support each other so that the prevention and control of animal and poultry diseases become effective.
