Long An: Many forces and volunteers mobilized to participate in fighting against epidemic
Up to now, Long An province has mobilized all 4,973 public officials and employees of the province's health sector to participate in preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic. In addition to the local force, the province increased 672 people to support the districts of Duc Hoa, Ben Luc, Can Giuoc and Tan An city. Currently, the total force participating in epidemic prevention and control in the districts is 14,537 people.

The Human Resources Sub-committee has mobilized and introduced 730 people to the Department of Health to participate in community testing, Covid-19 vaccination and support at field hospitals, proposing the Provincial Steering Committee to deploy and mobilize 265 people with medical expertise to prepare personnel for field hospitals.
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the province mobilized 4,737 youth union members to participate in support at field hospitals, isolation areas, quarantine checkpoints, tracing and testing teams, etc. Besides, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of National Defense and the provinces of Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Ben Tre and Thai Nguyen supported the province 332 people participating in fighting against the epidemic.
In addition, public non-business units in the health sector receive and sign labor contracts waiting to recruit officials for 78 newly graduated students of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in order to contribute to supplementing human resources with medical expertise to participate in preventing and controlling Covid-19 epidemic in the province.s
Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command will arrange forces to participate in implementing epidemic prevention and control work according to the needs of the Provincial Steering Committee and the Command Department. Particularly, the Provincial Military Command mobilized nearly 300 officers and soldiers to participate.
In order to prepare the mobilized human resources to support the Covid-19 prevention and control in the province, the Provincial Human Resources Sub-committee has made a list of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the agencies. Provincial-level agencies and units registered to participate in prevention and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic, they are ready to support when needed by the Provincial Steering Committee.
Particularly, the force prepared by districts, town and city up to now is 4,572 people, of which medical staff is 324 people (67 doctors, 100 nurses, doctors, midwives and 157 other medical staffs).
The Human Resources Sub-committee continued to coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Youth Union and Trade Union Committee of the province to mobilize cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, union members, youth, so on to register to participate in serving the Covid-19 prevention and control in the province.
In addition, the Human Resources Sub-committee also proposed the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to consider the policy of increasing the bonus level by 50 percent and awarding certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 75 collectives and 100 individuals. In particular, it focuses on rewarding individuals directly participating in epidemic prevention and control at the frontline, the teams and members of community Covid with outstanding achievements in prevention and controlling the epidemic./.
