Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc said that the local epidemic prevention and control work has had positive results so far. Previously, the People's Committee of Long An province issued a plan to restore production and business of enterprises in the province. During this period, each enterprise is only allowed to operate with a maximum of 50 percent of the labor force compared to normal conditions and can only use laborers residing or temporarily residing in Long An province; workers must receive at least 1 shot of vaccine with enough 14 days. Employees coming back to work must have a negative test result for Covid-19 by RT-PCR method within 72 hours; During the operation, testing must be conducted at most every 7 days.

For picking-up and dropping-off workers, Long An also issued many very specific regulations such as enterprises must organize gathering places for workers to pick up and drop off and under the supervision of local authorities; employees must commit to ensure the 5K principle; must register the vehicle number, driver, route, have a diagram of seating arrangement; vehicles are not allowed to stop or park so that the people on the vehicle avoid contacting with other people along the route, etc./.
