Tan Tru: People contribute nearly 257 billion VND to build new-style rural

A rural road in the district is concreted

Up to now, the average number of new-style rural criteria per commune of Tan Tru district has reached 17.5 criteria, with 7 out of 10 communes meeting new-style rural standards, the remaining communes reach 14 or more criteria.

According to the People's Committee of Tan Tru district, from 2010 to the present, the whole district has mobilized about 1,185 billion 883 million VND to invest in the new-style rural program. In particular, the state budget is 850 billion 884 million VND, people contribute nearly 257 billion VND, the rest are from other sources.

From these sources, socio-economic infrastructure has been concentrated and synchronized in investment. The transportation system in the district now has more than 42km of communal and inter-communal roads and more than 137 kilometers of hamlet roads, nearly 54 kilometers of concreted alleys, creating favorable conditions for people to circulate and transport goods./.
