On April 6, Deputy Director of the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Ben Luc district - Bui Huu Tri said that the People's Committee of Ben Luc district has organized to announce the investment policy of the project to upgrade and renovate Provincial Road 830C .
Previously, the Provincial People's Council approved Resolution No. 28 dated July 13, 2022 on investment policy for the project to upgrade and renovate Provincial Road 830C.
On April 5, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2689 on approving the policy and scope of site clearance for the project to upgrade and renovate Provincial Road 830C through Ben Luc district.
Accordingly, the project has a length of 8.3km, passing through 3 communes: Thanh Phu, Tan Buu, My Yen and Ben Luc town. There are 770 affected households and 11 organizations in the area of site clearance with a total recovery area of nearly 9 hectares. The project's starting point is Ben Luc town and the ending point connects to Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Ben Luc district, the project to upgrade and renovate Provincial Road 830C in Ben Luc district has 6 lanes, including 4 car lanes and 2 rudimentary vehicles lanes, with medians, sidewalks on both sides and a synchronous technical infrastructure system. The scope of site clearance is 30m, from the design center to 15m on each side, with the scale of an urban road.
This project is invested by the Provincial Department of Transport. The total project investment is 971 billion VND, of which, site clearance costs are about 220 billion VND.
Last week, the People's Committee of Ben Luc district held a public meeting to announce the investment policy in My Yen and Thanh Phu communes.
Accordingly, in this project, Thanh Phu commune has 463 households and 8 operating companies, My Yen commune has 28 households and 1 company within the scope of site clearance.

After the project is completed, it will increase the value of people's residential areas, connecting traffic with the provincial and national highway systems. At the same time, it will contribute to gradually synchronizing transport infrastructure, serving the socio-economic development of the communes in particular, the district and the province in general.
At the meeting, representatives of households had direct opinions on the scope of the project's impact on current housing and land and received clarification from the professional sector.
“According to Department of Transport, the project to upgrade and renovate Provincial Road 830C will start construction at the end of this year. As for site clearance work, this week, Ben Luc district has started counting and striving to complete the handover of the site early to carry out construction on schedule," Mr. Bui Huu Tri said./.
