Chairman of Long An People's Committee congratulates New Year - Lunar New Year of Tiger 2022

 

 

In the joy of celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Tiger 2022 and the traditional New Year of the nation, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province, I cordially send to all my compatriots, comrades, officials, civil servants, public officials, armed forces, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families, wounded and sick soldiers, dignitaries, religious believers, businesses, entrepreneurs, and fellow Long An living and working in and out of the province, kind regards and best wishes for the new year!

 

 

The year 2021 has a very important meaning: It is the first year to implement and implement the Resolution of the XIIIth Party Congress and the XIth Provincial Party Congress Resolution. However, 2021 is also the year the Covid-19 pandemic develops very complicatedly, Long An is one of the four "epidemic" provinces of the country in the 4th epidemic, seriously affecting the socio-economic situation of the province and the health and life of the people.

 

However, with the solidarity, unanimity, efforts and striving of the Party Committee, the government, mass organizations, the consensus of the People, the companionship of the business community, entrepreneurs inside and outside the province, we are gradually "adapting safely, flexibly, effectively controlling the Covid-19 epidemic", restoring production and trade, developing socio-economic, stabilizing people's lives in a state of "new normal". The economic growth rate in 2021 reached 1.02 percent, the total state budget revenue reached more than 123 percent of the central estimate and more than 119 percent of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, ranking second in the country in terms of attracting foreign investment with more than 3.8 billion USD. To basically ensure people's lives; spread the spirit of "mutual love, mutual love", etc.

 

On behalf of the provincial leaders, I am pleased to recognize and praise the achievements of all levels, sectors and people, together with the business community and entrepreneurs in the past year.

 

 

The year 2022 is the year of important actions in the implementation of our province's 5-year socio-economic development plan, in difficult conditions due to the evolution and overcoming of the consequences of the epidemic. The focus on organizing, directing and administering must be drastic, dynamic, creative, united, proactive, ready to adapt to the new situation, and join hands to build Long An province into an investment destination that is friendly, rich potential and a fairly developed province in the Southern Key Economic Region as proposed by the Resolution of the XIth Provincial Party Congress.

 

Before the comrades and compatriots of Long An, on behalf of the provincial leadership, in the new year, I promise to highly promote the tradition of solidarity, creativity, overcoming difficulties, and the whole political system in the whole province, community. The business community and people of all walks of life promote the will to be self-help and self-reliant, make efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges, and strive step by step to make the province grow stronger and more sustainable.

 

Happy New Year, I would like to wish all my compatriots, comrades, cadres and soldiers, the business community, businessmen in the province, and the children of Long An hometown who are living and working, studying away from home wish good health and happiness; I wish you a new year of success, peace and prosperity.
