Long An has 168 products meeting OCOP standards
According to the Department of Rural Development and Irrigation of Long An province, in the first 6 months of 2024, the whole province has recognized 20 OCOP products. Accumulated up to now, the whole province has had 168 products meeting OCOP standards, including 40 4 stars and 128 3 stars products.

Accordingly, the province's OCOP products focus on 4 groups: food (133 products); beverages (17 products); herbal medicine (7 products); handicrafts (11 products).
It is known that the OCOP is an economic development program for rural areas in the direction of developing internal resources and adding value. At the same time, this is also an important solution and task in implementing the National Target Program on building new rural areas.
Over the past time, in order for OCOP products to develop effectively and sustainably, departments and branches have strengthened trade promotion work, expanding consumption markets at home and abroad, especially promoting consumption of OCOP products through conferences, fairs, festivals, tourist attractions, gifts, etc to connect supply and demand.
In addition, departments and branches also organize knowledge training classes for product owners to promote e-commerce development for OCOP products through online sales channels such as Shopee, TikTok, Lazada, Sendo, etc./.
