According to Director of Long An PC - Le Hoang Oanh, the company implements its production and trade plan in the context of many impacts, especially the negative impact of the Covid-19 epidemic in 2021.

However, with determination, solidarity, unanimity, efforts to overcome difficulties along with the interest and support from the locality, Southern Power Corporation, the unit operating power supply, production and trade properly and effectively, fulfill tasks and targets assigned by superiors, ensure sufficient electricity supply to meet the needs of economic, cultural and social development in the area.

In which, PC has well performed its main role in ensuring electricity supply for service, investing in the development of the power grid, ensuring electricity for industrial production and daily life, and providing adequate electricity to serve the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. It invests in power grids in remote and isolated areas, serving the new-style rural criteria.

PC  reduces the proportion of electricity used for electricity distribution to meet the assigned plan, improve the reliability of power supply and customer quality, produce and trade with profits, fulfill obligations to the state and contribute to carry out social security activities in the area.

In addition to the achieved results, the power sector still faces many difficulties and certain limitations in performing the assigned tasks.

In 2022, PC will propose measures to overcome difficulties and promote the achieved results to try and make efforts to perform the tasks assigned by superiors. In particular, the electricity industry's goal is to ensure a stable power supply, fully meet the needs of socio-economic development in the area under its management with better quality and customer service, make practical contributions to the local development goals.

The unit restructures, reorganizes and renovates the enterprise, improves the quality of human resources, continues to maintain production and business efficiency and labor productivity, applies information technology to the implementation process, ensures the progress of investment in power projects.

At the same time, Long An PC well organized the implementation of the 2022 theme of the Vietnam Power Corperation, which is "safe, flexible and effective adaptation".

Deputy General Director of Southern Power Corporation - Doan Duc Hung highly appreciated the results that Long An PC has performed. In 2022 and in the coming time, the Corporation requires the units to closely monitor the implementation of 10 key tasks.

Firstly, safely and stably operate the national electricity system, ensure sufficient electricity supply for socio-economic development and people's daily life; flexible, safe and efficient operation of the power system in the condition that renewable energy sources such as solar power and wind power account for an increasing proportion; ensuring transparency, optimizing the power system, not letting costs exceed the assigned plan; operate the power grid safely and effectively, without any occupational accidents. Develop scenarios for flexibly operating power sources and power grids, taking initiative in situations in case the epidemic spread in units and localities or when incidents occur or the climate changes unusually.

Secondly, develop a power supply plan in case the national power system lacks a power source according to the guiding circular of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Develop a load conditioning plan with 110kV customers, key electricity users in terms of power supply, load conditioning and power saving solutions in 2022.

Thirdly, improve the indicator of fault capacity of 110kV and medium voltage grids, indicators of power supply reliability and power loss; continue to implement the plan to reduce the proportion of electricity used for electricity distribution to achieve the plan assigned by the Corporation.

Fourthly, coordinate well with the locality, actively support the Power Grid Project Management Boards in compensation and ground clearance for power works in order to complete the works on schedule to ensure the electricity supply in the province, especially for the key project of 110kV An Thanh - Thanh Hoa transmission line.

Fifthly, develop an implementation plan, improve the quality of construction investment; increase technology application, digital transformation to shorten procedures and progress in construction investment, update legal documents in construction investment.

Sixthly, perform the task of infrastructure investment for digital transformation; plan telecommunications infrastructure, fiber optic infrastructure for efficient development and better customer service; perfect the organizational model and improving the capacity of personnel to perform investment project management.

Seventhly, continue to improve the quality of customer service; electronicization of the entire process of electricity service provision; improve the quality of electricity bill collection and non-cash payment; implement to complete and reach the schedule of information technology projects in service of business-customer service.

Eighthly, continue to implement solutions to improve the quality of human resources in the digital transformation era, human capacity must be appropriate, responsive and effective to be able to soon achieve a successful digital business in the year 2022.

Ninthly, well perform the tasks of production, business and construction investment, including: Power loss, reliability of power supply, access to electricity, distribution costs, labor productivity; increase the average electricity selling price, electricity bill collection rate; ensure financial targets, enhance equipment for working and construction, reduce hardships for employees; complete the annual plan on progress, volume, quality and capital disbursement; save costs, increase efficiency in bidding and settle payments on time.

Finally, consolidate and perfect the organizational model and operation of the unit; developing a restructuring plan and organizational model towards specialization and efficient operation in the electricity market; focus on improving the quality of human resources on all three aspects: skills, awareness, discipline; develop a qualified information technology team, capable of consulting, building and applying technologies to increase labor productivity; ensure jobs and life for workers; actively participate in social security, security and defense work.
