Digital transformation is a revolution of all people and comprehensive. This is the central task throughout the entire political system in the province. In Long An, in recent years, the promotion of information technology application and e-government building has been paid attention by the province, it has achieved positive results.
Telecommunications infrastructure - basic information technology to meet the requirements for building e-government and digital government. Shared digital platforms promote efficiency for management and administration, 100 percent of online public services are eligible to be provided at level 4, basic information safety and network security are guaranteed. At the same time, the digital economy initially contributed to the economic growth of the province, businesses gradually transformed digitally, and people's quality of life was improved.

With the goal of bringing digital technology into all aspects of life, economy and society, the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee has issued Resolution No. 21 on digital transformation of Long An province to 2025, with orientation to 2030.
Some key targets are set, specifically: By 2025, Long An will achieve above the national average for digital transformation targets; 100 percent of online public services are eligible for level 4; complete the construction of the Provincial Shared Data Warehouse; digital economy accounts for 10 percent of GRDP; broadband network infrastructure covers over 80 percent of households and 100 percent of communes; universalize 4G/5G mobile network services and smartphones; complete the implementation of basic smart city services in Tan An city.
By 2030, Long An will reach above the national level for digital transformation indicators; 100 percent online DVC is offered at level 4 and is offered across a variety of media; digital economy accounts for 15 percent of GRDP; universalize broadband Internet services, 5G mobile networks; complete the construction of the Provincial Open Data Portal; comprehensively deploy smart city services in developed cities of the province; to develop a hi-tech economic zone in the province.

Developing e-government towards digital government to lead digital transformation; providing high-quality public services; optimal use of digital platforms to effectively solve socio-economic problems.
To develop the digital economy, gradually increase the proportion of the digital economy to contribute to strongly renewing the growth model, improving the quality of growth, and shifting the economic structure of the province in the right direction.
Developing a digital society for people and businesses to participate in transactions and interactions with state agencies; enhancing publicity and transparency in social management and administration, jointly solving problems and jointly creating values for the community.

In the digital transformation program, the Provincial Party Committee identified eight priority areas for digital transformation: health, education, transportation, agriculture, natural resources and environment, finance and banking, energy and, industrial production.
