In Long An, up to the present, classified by risk zone (Decision 2686/QD-BYT) by week (from August 27 to September 2): Very high risk area includes Duc Hoa (35 percent of communes at very high risk) and Ben Luc (73 percent of communes at very high risk); high-risk areas include Tan An city (42 percent of communes at high risk), Can Giuoc (60 percent of communes at risk); The risk areas are Chau Thanh (1 commune with very high risk), Thu Thua (41 percent communes at risk), Can Duoc with (17.6 percent communes at risk, but due to their location adjacent to the high-risk districts, thus they are not in a new normal state because the infectious risk may still occur); The new normal are Tan Tru, Vinh Hung, Moc Hoa, Kien Tuong, Tan Thanh, Thanh Hoa, Tan Hung and Duc Hue.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut said, through the proposal and assessment of the epidemic situation in each locality, firstly, 8 localities are at the new normal level (green zone), including Tan Tru, Vinh Hung, Moc Hoa , Kien Tuong, Tan Thanh, Thanh Hoa, Tan Hung, Duc Hue will implement social distancing according to Directive 15/CT-TTg. The remaining districts will continue to implement the distance according to Directive 16/CT-TTg until the end of September 13. On that basis, the Command Department will advise the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to have an official conclusion.

With the implementation of social distancing, he also asked the checkpoints with the neighbouring provinces, the functional forces must strengthen control measures. Green-zone districts must also strengthen control because of implementing the distance according to Directive 15/CT-TTg within the area and still have to tighten the outer area, especially strictly control people and vehicles returning from other localities. 

He praised localities for their urgency and initiative in vaccination work and requested efforts to ensure the completion of the first vaccination for all people over 18 years old by September 10. In particular, localities urgently aggregate the number of F1s that are concentrated in isolation in the area to organize immediate injections for these cases./.
