Ben Luc district strengthens more checkpoints to tighten social distancing measures
Immediately after Official Letter No. 8394/UBND-VHXH on strengthening some measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the province was issued, in addition to 32 stations and checkpoints for Covid-19 prevention and control fixed on the main roads at the gateway of Ben Luc district, it also actively arranged 14 more inter-commune checkpoints; at the same time, maintain 4 mobile teams at district level and 14 at commune level to strictly manage the implementation of social distancing in accordance with the latest guidance of the Provincial People's Committee.
Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Van Tet - Deputy Chief of Ben Luc District Public security, said: "As soon as Official Letter No. 8394 was issued, Ben Luc District quickly announced it through the District Culture, Information and Radio Broadcasting Center, the commune radio station to let the people know. In the course of patrolling and controlling, the district police directed mobile inspection teams to resolutely handle cases when going out on the street is not really necessary, and in cases where people really don't know Official Letter No. 8394 then they reminded and asked to return home. Particularly in case the patient goes to the hospital, medical facility and so on, we will create the maximum conditions, but must have a confirmation letter from the chairman of the People's Committee of the communes or townlets where he/she resides and other papers according to regulations on epidemic prevention and control”.
In addition, agencies, units and businesses in the province, based on the work, organize for cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees to work from home. Particularly for heads of agencies and units; forces participating in epidemic prevention and control and forces dealing with urgent tasks will be arranged to work directly at agencies and units under the motto "3 on the spot" (maximum no more than one third of the total number of employees, civil servants, public employees and workers of agencies and units). In order for the work to go smoothly and efficiently, while ensuring the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, many agencies and units have promoted the application of information technology in handling work.
Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment - Vo Minh Thanh informed: "When the 4th epidemic broke out, the Department directed specialized departments and divisions to apply information technology to their work. Specifically, online staff must coordinate with face-to-face staff. Thanks to the application of information technology when working, the processing of records is not delayed".
As for the People's Committee of Tan Thanh town, Tan Thanh district, set up 2 mobile patrol teams, strictly controlling cases of people going out; at the same time, arrange cadres and party members to work under the "3-on-site" measure.
