However, the negative impacts of weather conditions are always a constant concern and one of the factors causing the province's agricultural sector to suffer significant losses.

Farmers expect favorable weather conditions in the new year, with the good harvest - good price situation

Mr. Tran Van Huong (Thuan Nghia Hoa commune, Thanh Hoa district) shared: "Last year, farmers encountered many difficulties in agricultural production. However, in general, it was still a successful year when farmers' income was guaranteed and somewhat higher than previous years. Entering 2025, I hope that favorable weather conditions will be favorable and the prices of agricultural products, especially rice, will soon stabilize so that farmers can make a profit and feel secure in production".

Similarly, shrimp farmers also hope that shrimp prices will continue to improve in 2025, because for more than 2 years, they have had to bear losses.

Mr. Vo Van Ro (Nhat Ninh commune, Tan Tru district) confided: "After more than 2 years of high production costs while the prices have continuously decreased, shrimp prices will only begin to recover by the end of 2024. In the new year, I really hope that shrimp will be healthy, grow well and shrimp prices will continue to recover so that farmers have more funds to invest and expand production scale".

In 2025, despite having to continue to face many difficulties and challenges such as natural disasters, epidemics, climate change, etc, with high determination, the provincial Department of Agriculture continues to set the goal of improving the quality, added value and competitiveness of agricultural products; increasing people's income; strengthening linkages between agricultural production and processing and services along the value chain; etc./.
