As of this afternoon, July 11, the province has recorded a total of 363 cases of Covid-19 with codes (including 347 community patients) and many other suspected cases. There are 14 clusters of infection in the community, all related to epidemiological factors from Ho Chi Minh City, including some cases of entering companies in industrial parks. It is especially noteworthy that a cluster of new infections appeared at Sen Viet Plastic Packaging Joint Stock Company (Phu An Thanh Industrial Park, An Thanh Commune, Ben Luc District) with 61 positive cases of SARS-CoV-2 via PCR test.

To urgently prevent the disease from spreading, the province implemented Directive 16/CT-TTg in key localities including districts of Can Duoc, Can Giuoc, Ben Luc, Duc Hoa and Tan An City; Directive 15/CT-TTg is applied in the remaining localities. However, in reality, there are still many people who lack awareness, have not strictly followed regulations, and still gather in large numbers and go out on the street when it is not really necessary, especially in Tan An city and Ben Luc district.

Facing the above situation, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc requested localities to urgently implement the PM’s direction on implementing the social distancing according to Directive 16/CT-TTg and Directive 15/CT- TTg. The whole political system must devote all its efforts, prioritizing to implement the task of epidemic prevention and control in the current period.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Pham Tan Hoa requested the Department of Health to immediately deploy the vaccination that is urgently given to the province by the Government. The Department of Health also needs to deploy specific assignment of tasks, especially private-managed injection teams to have consistency and synchronization in vaccination. The District Steering Committees allocates resources appropriately for officials to trace and inject vaccines.

Facing the current emergency situation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Nguyen Van Ut requested localities to strictly implement social distancing, especially Directive 16/CT-TTg; accept to sacrifice economic benefits to prioritize epidemic prevention. Propose businesses to stop accepting workers from Ho Chi Minh City; businesses that have F0, F1 cases must immediately stop operating today; If the remaining enterprises cannot provide workers with food, accommodation and production right at the enterprise, they must stop operating within 24 hours. The Health sector has dispatched forces to support key areas to strengthen testing and screening, make efforts to clean up areas, prevent new cases, etc./.
