Chau Thanh reaches 9 out of 9 criteria of new-style rural district

After 8 years of practicing and implementing the National Target Program on new-style rural construction, up to now, Chau Thanh has achieved 9 out of 9 criteria for the new-style rural district; 12 out of 12 communes in the district have received the title of the new-style rural standard.

Rural appearance of the district is increasingly prosperous; infrastructure systems such as Rural transportation, irrigation, schools, socio-cultural institutions to better meet the requirements of economic development as well as people’s daily life.

The forms of agricultural production organizations are interested in innovating in the direction of strengthening links along the value chain. Per capita income reached nearly 60 million VND per person per year; The poverty rate will decrease to 1.05 percent (in 2018).
