On March 10, in Vung Tau City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, the 171 Brigade, in coordination with the State Archives Department, the Navy Museum and the Command of Region 2, organized an exhibition of historical photos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos with the theme "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa - sacred sea and islands" and "Heroic Vietnam People's Navy - 70 years of protecting the sea".
This is the largest exhibition ever with hundreds of photos from the 19th century, historical documents, and evidence of artifacts on display. All historical documents, maps, and images have legal value and affirm that the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos belong to Vietnam's territorial sovereignty.

The guide introduces historical documents
At the exhibition, many historical documents from the 19th century to the present were published for the first time, such as the document "Chau Ban, Moc Ban of Nguyen Dynasty", recognized by UNESCO as a world document, establishing the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa as belonging to Vietnam and recognizing the achievements of the Vietnam People's Navy in 70 years of fighting, winning, building and growing.
