Chairman of Long An People's Committee has dialogue with Yujin Kreves Co., Ltd

At the dialogue, the representative of Yujin Kreves Co., Ltd. in Hoa Binh Industrial Park, Thu Thua district, said that after receiving the conclusion of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the compliance with the provisions of the law on environmental protection and overcoming the consequences of administrative violations in the field of environmental protection, the Company has urgently implemented some measures to remedy mistakes.

However, the Company has a large production scale, the complex machinery system requires a lot of time and costs for the relocation and re-arrangement of the factory to meet the standards of environment protection. In particular, the company commits to relocate the entire product polishing line, vacuum cleaners in the area adjacent to the residential area into the factory to be completely relocated by the end of February and overcome People's reflection on noise and dust during the company's operation. The company has also stopped production to focus on overcoming violations.

Since then, Yujin Kreves Co., Ltd. wishes the provincial leaders to consider and create the best conditions for the company to take remedial measures before going into operation again.

At the meeting and dialogue, representatives of departments, branches and Thu Thua district also raised the fact that the company’s production causing the noise and dust affects the people’s lives and activities, leading to the situation that people's complaints are prolonged and Yujin Kreves is recommended to promptly overcome the remaining violations.

Speaking at the dialogue, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut affirmed that Long An province always creates the best conditions, maximum support for domestic and foreign businesses when they come to Long An to invest on the basis of complying with the law and ensure the requirements of environmental protection.

In the case of Yujin Kreves Co., Ltd., Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut suggested that the company must immediately and thoroughly remedy the violations indicated at the conclusion of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the spirit of goodwill to overcome and have a specific remedy plan. In case, the company does not have goodwill to overcome and does not have a specific remedy plan, the Provincial People's Committee will consider suspending the operation of the company. At the same time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut also requested relevant departments and branches to create all conditions and maximum support for Yujin Kreves Co., Ltd. in the process of remedying the indicated violation./.
