On July 29, the Long An People's Committee - the second deputy cluster of the Emulation Cluster of the Southwest provinces held a conference to review the implementation of the emulation agreement in the first 6 months of 2022.

The GRDP economic growth rate in the first 6 months of the year of the provinces in the cluster increased by an average of 5.15 percent (the same period in 2021 reached 4.9 percent). In which, there are some high growth provinces: Hau Giang 11 percent; Bac Lieu 7.45 percent; Vinh Long 6.69 percent, Soc Trang 6.46 percent, Long An 5.11 percent, etc.
Total budget revenue in the first 6 months of the whole cluster is estimated at over VND 97,761 billion (the same period in 2021 is estimated at VND 52,049 billion), some provinces have a high rate of budget revenue compared to the annual plan of the province such as Long An, Hau Giang, Tra Vinh, Kien Giang, Tien Giang, Dong Thap, etc.

The export turnover of the cluster is estimated at over USD 11 billion (the same period in 2021 is USD 9.1 billion). Some provinces with high export turnover: Long An, Tien Giang, Dong Thap, Ben Tre, Soc Trang, Ca Mau, etc.
The commendation work closely follows the results of the implementation of political tasks, key and urgent tasks of agencies and units. The provinces pay more attention to and pay more attention to thematic rewards and rewards for individuals with unexpected achievements, those who directly work, produce and work.
