In April, the province's economic situation continued to achieve many positive results in most fields. Rice production reached 1.54 million tons, an increase of 4.4% over the same period. The index of industrial production is estimated to increase by 4.61% over the previous month, by 0.35% over the same period; Accumulated industrial production index in the first 4 months of the year increased by 4.43% over the same period. Commercial activities - services continue to develop; total retail sales of consumer goods and services increased by 17.1% over the same period.

Total state budget revenue to April 2023 was 6,998 billion VND, reaching 34.7% of the provincial estimate (the same period reached 51.3% of the assigned estimate). Disbursement of public investment reached 37.1% of the plan (the same period reached 16.9% of the plan). Investment promotion and attraction have achieved many positive results.

At the conference, representatives of departments, branches and localities clarified, proposed and recommended a number of solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in the process of performing tasks.

However, the implementation still faces some difficulties, especially in the collection of state budget. Despite the overall positive results, some units still achieved low, less than 20% disbursement work when analyzing each department, branch and locality; there are still complaints in disbursement work;etc.

Chairman of  Provincial People's Committee requested the departments, branches and localities to check and re-evaluate the plan to implement the set tasks, focus on removing difficulties to speed up the implementation of the task. In particular, in the current difficult situation, he suggested that leaders of departments, branches and localities concretize weekly work, maintain appropriate meetings to check work progress in all fields to have solutions implemented.

He asked localities to fully assess the results of state budget revenue to proactively implement solutions and develop monthly revenue plans. Some localities with revenue below 30% must review and drastically increase state budget revenue, especially in key areas. In addition, he also asked departments, branches and localities to focus on disbursing funds to contribute to the economic growth of the province; step up the work of compensation and ground clearance; re-adjust the active role in consulting and implementation coordination; check the implementation of digital transformation in the locality; disease control;etc./.
