Long An invests in construction of Provincial road 826E

Complex urban area along the Provincial road 826E, hamlet 3, Long Hau commune

According to the Department of Transportation, in Long Hau commune, industrial parks and clusters and complex urban areas such as housing, entertainment, trade and services areas are gradually established. However, the transport infrastructure system has not been fully invested so it can not meet the local development needs.

Provincial road 826E connects with Phan Van Bay street (Nha Be district, Ho Chi Minh city). Therefore, upgrading the road is necessary for the local socio-economic development. Specically, according to the plan to 2030, Long Hau commune is planned to become a green urban area of the province.

At the present, the road is very narrow

In the future, Provincial road 826E will connect National Highway 50 with the Southwest axis to Long Hau industrial park, Tan Tap - Long Hau road and Hiep Phuoc - Ho Chi Minh city industrial park.

In order to gradually improve the local transport infrastructure system, attract investments and meet local socio-economic development needs, the investment in the road is very important, said the Deputy Director of Transportation Department - Dang Hoang Tuan.

Provincial road 826E is invested according to the standard of main urban road with a length of nearly 3 kilometers and 40 meters wide. Besides, the surface is 11.2 meters wide on each side, the median strip is 1.5 meters wide and the sidewalk is 8 meters wide. The design speed of the road is about 60 kilometres per hour, the load is 12 tons.

Ba Dang bridge connects Long Hau Industrial park with the Provincial Road 826E

The road will be built with a sewer system along two sides, placed under the sidewalk. Drainage system drains towards Ba Dang and Dat Thanh canals. At the same time, 2 bridges crossing Dat Thanh and Ba Dang canals will be built.

The total investment is over VND 583 billion, including 50 percent from provincial budget and 50 percent from enterprises. The project is expected to be implemented from 2019 to 2021./.
